Barrel House Brewing Company is a small scale craft beer brewery located in Tin City – Paso Robles, CA. We have a previous blog post describing Tin City, which you should read. The district is defined as “an evolving industrial makers market nestled amongst the oaks where friends, adventurers, and aficionados come together to partake in craft wine, beer and spirits served up by Paso’s most passionate artisans”. Tin city is hip, modern, fun, artsy – just a must do if you find yourself in Paso. The word is starting to spread.
Barrel House does have some inside seating, but this place is all about the outside. They have a large area out front with picnic tables where people can drink their beer and eat food. For is provided by a gourmet lunch truck, one of which is always on site.
The day we popped by for lunch recently, the food was by “Hungry Mother“, and it was delicious.
Barrel House always has music playing outside, and often is it is live. They have a small stage out front made from a vintage flat bed truck. And a larger stage out back, where there is additional seating under large tents (with misters on hot days!).
All of the Barrel House beer is produced on site.
They also have a mobile tap trailer for offsite events.
If you visit Paso for wine tasting, but also have a taste for beer, then Barrel House is one of the many great Paso breweries you should check out.
